School Nurse Corps
School Nurse Corps (SNC) fills a critical gap in access to equitable school nursing services for students in small, rural districts. The SNC strives to ensure student health and safety and to support attendance and learning by expanding public school districts’ nursing service capacity. Nine SNC Nurse Administrators provide structural program support – coordination, planning, implementation, evaluation and administration of an array of services within their ESD region that support school nurses and school district health services programs. In addition, SNC Nurse Administrators support statewide school nurse efforts in collaboration with Washington state agencies
Vision
All children receive equitable, full access to school nursing services to be healthy, safe and successful in school and life.
