Position Summary

The Inclusive Learning & Systems Improvement Coordinator collaborates with NWESD staff, OSPI, and local districts to build, implement, and sustain equitable, inclusive systems of support through high-quality professional learning, coaching, and technical assistance aligned with Washington State’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. In addition, the coordinator supports districts and schools in developing and sustaining systems of support by providing training and coaching on implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to improve academic, social-emotional, and behavioral outcomes for every student.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred. Significant successful experience teaching required. Demonstrated experience teaching curriculum and/or assessment workshops as well as experience managing workshops and special events. Personal transportation and willingness to travel. WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance required. Valid Washington State driver’s license and proof of liability insurance required.

Employment Conditions and Benefits

8 hours per day, Monday - Friday, 215 work days per year.
This position will serve districts across our region, PS-12th grade programs.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in an office or telecommute environment; however, travel is required for on-site support of schools and districts, workshops or conference attendance. Lifts and carries a maximum of 30 pounds. Adequate manual and finger dexterity, hearing, speech, and vision are necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. This position is eligible to telecommute up to 60% per week, at the discretion of the department head and after a successful six-month probationary period.

Hazards: Those present in a normal office environment. Lifting and moving tables and chairs for workshop setup is a potential hazard if proper safety procedures are not adhered to. Routine travel may pose potential hazards including driving in inclement weather.

Salary Range

$106,880.80 - $120,365.60
