NWESD Board Policy 4217 Effective Communication

The NWESD website is in Phase 1 of 3 in the certification process. The information contained within the NWESD website, digital content, and online services will be accessible to all individuals with disabilities in accordance with the standards of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the Web Accessibility Initiative Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (WAI-ARIA) for web-based content, except when doing so would impose undue burden. In the event of such a burden, the NWESD will identify a method for providing equally effective alternative access.

This ongoing process includes regular updates to our website that improve access and usability for all users. The NWESD pledges to continue our pursuit of conforming with WCAG 2.0 principles, guidelines, and success criteria. If you encounter issues with any page or feature on this website that may present a challenge for site visitors looking to access this website, please submit your feedback through communications@nwesd.org
