The NWESD Offers Support for Suicide Prevention Plans
As we reach the end of the school year and professional development planning begins for next school year, the Behavioral Health and Prevention Services team wants to highlight some supports we have to offer:
- 3-Hour QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) for School Professionals training offered remotely on Feb. 20, can also be offered to and at your school district.
- Also available are Youth Mental Health First Aid, Lifelines and Signs of Suicide. Other trainings offered this year have included Motivational Interviewing, Equity in Discipline and Building Spaces of Safety and Belonging for LGGTQ+ youth.
