FAQs for School Districts

pdEnroller is currently used by all nine of the state’s nine Educational Service Districts (ESDs), the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), and a growing number of districts throughout the state.  Just recently, the software passed the 190,000 user mark. The NWESD is proud to offer this powerful software solution to individual districts in our region who manage their own district clock hours and professional development opportunities.

pdEnroller allows districts to manage event registrations and clock hours all with a single platform.  It provides your staff with a one-stop shop for professional development offerings within your district, or for courses administered by eight of the nine ESDs and OSPI.  Your staff can log in with an existing pdEnroller account or their OSPI EDS account, and can view, download and print their own professional clock hour transcripts.

  • A robust search engine that helps educators find the classes they need for professional development.
  • Registration, payment and all communication is done electronically, and clock hours can be purchased with a credit card using our secure online system.
  • The user can view, download and print their own transcript, helping users manage their clock hour documentation.

One stop shop: pdEnroller streamlines the clock hour course proposal and approval process and lists all district professional development opportunities in one place.  State-required course evaluations, attendance verification and transcripts are features that simplify managing and recording clock hours.

The clock hour proposal feature is user-friendly and is designed to ensure all courses meet the requirements for Washington State clock hour compliance, including STEM.  The proposal process guides you through the required material, and alerts if information is missing or incomplete.   Approval committee members can simply log on to view the proposed clock hour course, and vote to approve or deny by clicking one button.
