Granite Falls, WA – The Granite Falls School District #332 Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Josh Middleton as the next superintendent, pending successful negotiations of contract. He will start on July 1, 2019.

After conducting a national search through Ray and Associates, Dr. Middleton was selected from a pool of 35 candidates. The search process was initiated by the board at the end of February, 2019.

Dr. Josh Middleton is the current superintendent of Middleton Schools in Idaho. Middleton has held this position since 2016. Prior to serving as the superintendent of Middleton schools, Middleton was a superintendent and assistant superintendent in Billings Public Schools, Laurel Public Schools, Sheridan and Valier School Districts from 1995 to 2014.

“The board in a unanimous 5-0 vote chose to select Dr. Middleton as our next superintendent. We felt his background, personality, and professional qualifications were an amazing fit. The board is excited to collectively work with Dr. Middleton to provide the best educational outcomes for the students and the families we serve, shared Carl Cary, Board Chair, on behalf of the Board of Directors.”

An open house will be held at a later date to welcome Dr. Josh Middleton to the district.
