Why should you attend?
Learn practices to support children who speak a language other than English. Earn in-service (STARS) hours and receive an educational kit that includes books, educational toys and other learning materials to use in the classroom.
Who should attend?
This training is designed for licensed family homes and center providers.
First, 20 participants who sign up and complete the training will be receiving kits.

- Understanding the importance of culture in the acquisition of language
- Benefits of learning more than one language
- Supporting language development for all children
- The series has 4 sessions totaling 12-hours of in-service training hours
