Transition and Life Skill Educators: we invite you to collaborate and train with other transition teachers from around the state. Educators will collaborate and discuss problems of practice, celebrate successes, and receive relevant training from guest speakers in the field.
Participants will develop a greater understanding of:
Best practices for state testing and transition plans; mental health tools and supports; relevant teacher, student, and parent resources and so much more.
Guest speakers may include but are not limited to staff from the WA Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), Center for Change and Transition Services (CCTS), Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Workforce Innovation and Technical Assistance Center (WINTAC), National Technical Assistance Center on Transition (NTACT), Partners for Action Voices for Empowerment (PAVE), and The Arc of Washington.Â
