Congratulations to Edmonds School District’s Spruce Elementary School teacher Jennie Warmouth, who was one of three teachers honored with the 2018 Patsy Collins Award for Excellence in Education, Environment, and Community presented by the Seattle Foundation and IslandWood.

 

The teachers were selected for their innovative approaches that connect learning with students’ lives and communities to foster environmental awareness and stewardship behaviors. In honor of their commitment to creating learning experiences that make a difference for kids, their communities, and the planet, each of the three educators will receive a $10,000 cash prize.
