Fellows are teacher leaders, instructional coaches, administrators, and curriculum specialists across our 35 districts

The NWESD serves a broad region with growing diversity amongst our students. Their success relies on regional teacher leadership that reflects the diversity of our students and we encourage all educators to consider how they can best contribute to our shared goals and learning.

Quotes from Fellows reflecting on the past year, what worked well for them in the Fellows program:

  • “It has given me a new perspective.”
  • “It has made me aware of inequities in math instruction and with that awareness try to be more intentional in my teaching practices.”
  • “I loved problem solving with others and learning about new resources that I can use in the class.”
  • “Meeting and interacting with other Fellows, discussing current issues such as equity in the classroom.”
