March 2016: Transition Reports delivered to PreK Teachers for completion
Two ways to get transition forms: (1) Order or print online (2) From your Early Achievers Technical Assistant/Coach. PreK teachers conduct assessments and share Transition Reports with families.
May-June 2016: Forms collected (due June 30)
Three Ways to Submit Reports: (1) Attend a Local PreK-K Transition Dinner & Dialogue, (2) Give them to your Early Achievers Technical Assistant/Coach, (3) Mail to NWESD, care of Karma Hugo, 1601 R Avenue, Anacortes, WA 98221. CCA & NWESD collect Reports, create community reports to represent & advocate continued partnership opportunities.
August 2016: Delivered to school districts for distribution to K Teachers
Transition Reports will be sent to designated Early Learning Contacts at each district by August 5, 2016. NWESD distributes Transition Re13689ports to districts. Principals & kindergarten teachers review, prepare to support incoming students.
