Summary:

This position is responsible for printing, breaking down and shipping computer generated reports for distribution to clients and processing print shop requests, and serving as back-up for the Operations Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Print, prepare, electronically log and ship reports.
  • Process ACH transmissions to multiple banks.
  • Process warrant registers in the current software for clients.
  • Monitor the machines for errors and contact appropriate technical assistance for help.
  • Report issues and troubleshoot with staff and clients regarding print jobs or batch errors.
  • Run numerous small machines used to finish print jobs such as pressure sealers, paper folder, coil binder, cutter, tabber, etc.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision for all transactions.
  • Quote, set up, and print jobs for clients.
  • Stock paper and supplies.
  • Assists in training new personnel.
  • Receive and distribute all deliveries.

  • Full working knowledge of all hardware and software used in Operations; including Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in an Operator I role. This is an entry level operator position requiring computer-related application knowledge. Experience working in a printing environment is preferred. WSP background clearance required. Valid Washington State driver’s license and proof of liability insurance required.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Work is performed in an office/computer room environment. Standing for extended periods of time working at a computer terminal or counter is common. Lifts and carries a maximum of 60 pounds. Adequate manual and finger dexterity, hearing, speech and vision are necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
