September 15-October 15 is National Hispanic American Heritage Month

Please join the NWESD as we honor and celebrate the contributions and achievements of Hispanic Americans who have influenced and enriched our lives.

We kick off National Hispanic American Heritage Month with an invitation to learn more about an immersive, multimedia professional development experience, the ‘Foundations of Migrant Education’ virtual gallery walk. This 90-minute, informational, no-cost workshop can be facilitated for your staff or students by a member of our NWESD MEP team. The module draws connections between the history of migrant farm work in the US and the present-day realities that drive the targets of the Migrant Education Program, all while putting participants in the “driver’s seat” of their learning and offering as much room as possible for personal and professional connection-making.

Join the 1,500+ Washington State educators who have been reached by this connective experience.
