National Drug Take Back Events in the NWESD Region

Saturday, October 26th | 10 am to 2 pm in all locations

Protect your loved ones and the environment. Dispose of unwanted, unused or expired opioid prescriptions at a Drug Take Back event near you.

United General District 304 in partnership with local prevention coalitions and law enforcement will be taking back all prescription and over-the counter medications, including liquids and pet meds, are accepted in their original containers or in sealable bags. We cannot accept injection medications, syringes/lancets, illegal drugs – including cannabis, medical waste, vitamins, or batteries.

Free locking medication bags will be available for people to safely store any medicines that are left in the home and information about other community services.

Dispose of unwanted, unused, or expired opioids and other prescriptions at your local Take Back event or permanent drop off location. Clean out you cupboard and bring the medications to us at the North Fork Library. Drop it in the red box and we will deliver them to the DEA for proper disposal.
