The NWESD 189 Regional Art Show, where winners from our region will be chosen for the State Art Show,  will hang again in the Everett School District CRC from February 27 – March 10, 2017.  A reception for students, parents, teachers and the public will be held to celebrate our winners on March 10, 2017 from 6:00-7:30pm.  Students who submit their art will have the opportunity to earn scholarships and have their art purchased, should they be willing to sell it.  Art will be due at the Everett SD CRC and can be dropped off there with a copy of the registration form between Feb 21 and Feb 23, 2017.

OSPI has created an electronic form for registration.  Using this form should streamline the process.   To access the form you will need an account in the Educational Data System (EDS).

Your District Security Manager will give you access.  If you don’t know who your District Security Manager is, please go to: https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us/SecurityManagerList.aspx.

Register NowLinks to the application and the application User Guide (with step-by-step directions).

Important guidelines for submitting art to the NWESD Regional Art Show.

If your students need suggestions for matting or mounting their art, this is a good way to think about it: Exhibit Ready Scholatic Art.

You may want to read the guide and collect the information you will need prior to submitting the art in the system.  Once in the system,  this application will give us at NWESD numbers for our show in order to plan appropriate and adequate space.

Thank you for helping to streamline the Superintendent’s High School Art Show application process.  Please know I am here to support you!  Please contact Joanne Johnson, jjohnson@nwesd.org or 360-299-4046, if you have questions or are unable to make this process work.
