Summit Program
A cooperative program located in Monroe, the Summit Program provides a safe, supportive alternative environment to the traditional high school campus. Intensive support and instructional services at the Summit Program promote self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning for students working towards returning to their local school program, transitioning to higher education or employment training programs, graduation, and becoming productive members in their respective communities. Students are offered general education opportunities and enhanced supports, building capacity for and success in school and work-related skills required to transition to post-high school activities.
Report Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying
The NWESD is committed to a safe and civil educational environment for all students, employees, parents/legal guardians, volunteers and patrons, that is free from harassment, intimidation or bullying. Any student who believes he/she has been the target of unresolved, severe, or persistent harassment, intimidation or bullying may report incidents verbally or in writing directly to the site administrator or to Sheila Woods, Assistant Director for Special Programs and Services at the NWESD.
