Frequently Asked Questions about Clock Hours
Can I print a copy of this proposal to review before I submit it?
You may print the proposal prior to submitting it; however, any text that scrolls beyond the visible textbox(es) will not be shown.
Can I print this proposal and see all the info I typed in each textbox field?
After you click the SEND button at the bottom of the form, you will receive an email message with confirmation that the proposal was received. Included in the email message will be a unique URL, which will take you to a webpage where there is an option to print your entire proposal.
Can I save this proposal on my computer or network?
You may print your proposal to a .pdf document for saving to your computer, or simply bookmark the unique URL (contained in the email confirmation) that will bring up your proposal in a browser window.
Can I save an incomplete proposal and come back and complete it later?
Unfortunately, no. If you leave the proposal before clicking SEND, the proposal will disappear.
How do I know if a VITA is on file for all instructors of the inservice?
At the top of the Clock Hour Proposal form, there is a link to view instructors with VITAs on file at NWESD. They are listed in alphabetical order, or you may use the search feature at the top of the page to search for a specific name. If the instructor is not listed, then a VITA will need to be submitted.
What is a "repeat proposal" and how do I submit one?
A repeat proposal is an event that NWESD has already approved for clock hours. This repeat event has the same number of hours, rationale, objectives/outcomes, description/topics, requirements, and criteria as the original submission. To be eligible for a repeat proposal, an original proposal must have already been submitted and approved through the NWESD Clock Hour Proposal process within the same academic year.
How do I submit a repeat proposal?
Once the original proposal has been approved, the webpage that you reach using the unique URL will have a link at the top of page that can be used to submit a repeat of that inservice.
What do I do if I need to make changes to a previously submitted proposal?
