Clock Hours

Continued education for teachers is vital to success in the classroom and the NWESD is here to make it as seamless as possible.  In this section, you can:

Request an Official Clock Hour Transcript

Official transcripts are available, free of charge, for classes dating back to September 1999.  To request an official transcript please contact the Clock Hours department, noted below.  Be prepared to provide your full name, address, and certificate number, if you have one.

Clock Hour Requests

Clock hour request forms are usually found at the workshop you attended, however, you can also download a form here.  You can also contact the Clock Hours department with the in-service ID# to have a pre-filled form emailed to you.  The form includes information on submission deadlines, available methods of payment (we cannot accept cash), and other important instructions.

Clock Hour Fees: $2 per clock hour + $5 set-up fee for each in-service.  All participants pay same fee whether they qualify for all offered hours or not (based on attendance).   

File an Appeal for Late Clock Hour Request

Forms and fees must be submitted within ninety (90) days of the last class meeting in order to receive clock hours.  If a request is made for appeal of the ninety (90) day deadline, an email must be sent to: Dr. Jerry Jenkins, Superintendent.

Requests for appeal must explain why application could not have been made within the ninety (90) day period immediately following the class.  Requests must also include session number (in-service or course #), name of course, and all dates of course.  Dr. Jenkins' decisions are final.
