Northwest Early Learning

Northwest Early Learning (NWEL) is a five county project aimed to identify and fund services assuring all children enter kindergarten with the skills they need to succeed in school and in life. By partnering with industrious groups in Island, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, and Whatcom counties, NWEL can develop plans to support children's social and emotional development, early learning experiences, parenting education, and health for children. Several funding sources have allowed us to provide some exciting new services to children and families in our communities.
Our Vision: All children are ready for school and all schools are ready for children.
Our Mission: To support access to comprehensive early learning and family support opportunities to all children and families.
Our Goal:To support local communities to assure that:
  • All parents and caregivers promote positive social and emotional development of young children.
  • All children have access to high quality early learning environments.
  • All families have access to parenting support.
  • All children have access to health services.
