The Northwest Educational Service District 189 has a mission of providing leadership and cooperative services to our educational communities throughout the 5 northwest counties of Washington State. We welcome qualified applicants who are interested in supporting school disctricts in their efforts to increase the number of students meeting state and local standards.

Application Process

    To apply for a certificated position submit the following:
  • A completed NWESD Certificated application form {open for print}
  • Letter of interest reviewing qualifications and experience related to the duties and
        responsibilities
  • Current resume
  • Confidential placement file or signed letters of recommendation (3 preferred)
  • Transcripts
  • Copy of valid Washington State teaching certificate with proper endorsement
    To apply for a professional/technical or classified position submit the following:
  • Completed NWESD Classified/Professional Technical application form {open for print}
  • Letter of interest reviewing qualifications and experience related to the essential
        functions of the position
  • Current resume
  • Signed Letters of recommendation (3 preferred)
  • If you are applying for an Instructional Assistant position you will need to include copies
       of official transcripts
