Improving mathematics coordination within the region is one of the most vital challenges we seek at NWESD.  We work with our regional partners to build a comprehensive, coherent and collaborative system of mathematics education that is research based and standards compliant.  Together We Can. . .

Assist districts with mathematics professional development by supporting coaches and teacher leaders to build and improve assessment, curriculum, and instruction;

Organize professional learning communities for mathematics coaches and teacher leaders to support state initiatives that promote student success;

Host events geared toward the fulfillment of our learning communities’ needs;

Circulate information that fosters collaboration, while acting as a liaison for districts and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
