Deep Alignment
Deep Alignment is much different than topical or a "first glance" type of alignment. Deep Alignment refers to the congruence of the content, context, and cognitive demands present in the written, taught, and tested curriculum. This is a hands-on workshop that looks deeply at all these qualities. Teachers are asked to bring their classroom math instructional materialsto use in the implementation of these practices.

First Steps in Mathematics: Facilitator Course
These 'train the trainer' courses are the most cost effective way for schools or districts to deliver their own First Steps in Mathematics courses to a large number of teachers. Facilitators attending this comprehensive seven-day course are provided with intensive training and support materials that will help them provide high quality professional development and ongoing support for other teachers.

First Steps in Mathematics: Teacher Course
