Literacy

Literacy services at NWESD provide leadership and specific program offerings to individuals, schools, and districts that meet the challenge of providing research-based literacy instruction to all students, in all grade levels, across all disciplines. Together We Can. . .

Assist district and building-level teams in the development and implementation of standards-ready reading and writing goals;

Offer a spectrum of differentiated services from content literacy, ELL, and RTI support to assessment, intervention and best instructional practices;

Customize training, coaching, and support that meet school and district needs;

Disseminate information as a liaison for districts and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
