Sheltered Instruction Training
In this class, participants are introduced to the sheltered instruction observation protocol, protocol checklist and lesson plan formats. In addition, a deep focus on the 8 SIOP components, WA bilingual law, WA English Language Development Standards, English Language Proficiency Levels as well as language acquisition theory will equip participants to reach a variety of learners. (Requires purchase of training binder and SIOP book for training purposes).
